Tyke LL6, 2013-2014 (Dorchester Minor Hockey Association)

21 regular season games behind us. 8 games in two tournaments behind us. 29 games played by the FLYERS and we end with a record of 21-3-5! In all honesty, who cares about the record! What will be remembered is the fun we had getting there. It’s a bitter sweet day as we look at where we’ve been but knowing that it’s over.

…..gently up the ice! No one won. No one lost. Tie game between the Pens and the FLYERS. But we got to see some great hockey today and a season first for one of our hard working FLYERS!

As the parents car batteries, coil packs and spark plugs were failing all over Dorchester, the FLYERS batteries were charging. There were no weak spots on the team today!

Standing 45 inches tall and weighing in at 46 lbs, Mighty Molly strapped on the pads and stood tall between the pipes today. With fire in her eye and her fierce need to protect the net, Molly helped the FLYERS’ get their first shut out of the regular season.

The parents spent the morning shoveling.....knowing there was a big game to get to! An extreme winter day could not keep the FLYERS and their fans away from an opportunity to play and watch hockey!
