WICKED GOOD DEFENCE
If you didn't see this game then you missed out on the FLYERS' best defensive game of the season so far!

It's only been six games and the FLYERS'  defensive lines have really come alive. The coaching staff have molded these small tykes into hockey players and have put a glimmer of NHL in their eyes. Included in this defensive line up, and standing mighty tall between the pipes this weekend, was Bryce Steinmann. Bryce stopped some incredible shots but in the end only let in 3 that even Coach Jeff wouldn't have been able to save.
Focusing on the puck and protecting their goalie, Molly, Alex, Owen and Grayson were like a brick wall. All of them worked their hardest and played their positions very well. Alex Dutton needs to be acknowledged for playing his position just perfectly. The other teams forwards played a really great game but just could not manage to get much further than about two or three feet past our blue line; past our highly skilled orange brick wall; enough to score more than their three lovely goals.
Goals scored this game were by Grayson, Sam and Carson. Carson scored his three and went back to replace the awesome Owen Gray and joined the defensive dream team. Owen went up to play forward. Break away after break away (three actually) Grayson finally had his fourth lonesome go on net. Grayson swayed right. So did their goalie. Grayson swayed left.... so did their goalie! Grayson handled the puck like he has been doing it for decades, spins around and slips the puck in the vast opening created on the right hand side of the net. Nice job Grayson, you deserved this one!
This was another phenomenal show of the love for hockey that the players on the FLYERS team have. Way to go FLYERS. What an exciting game to watch.
