Dragons battle hard in Mitchell Tournament...
The boys started the tournament off against the Goderich Sailors. The Dragons took a 2-0 lead before the Sailors tied it up. We were able to get the go ahead goal and hung on to win with a empty netter to seal the deal. Our next competitor was our rival St. Marys. After 3 periods..we were tied 4-4. We experienced our first 4on4 and then 3on3's of the season....game remained tied...had to be decided by a shootout. We needed 8 shooters to end the game with a win!! Exciting times! Just when we thought it couldn't get more crazy, we faced Ilderton next. Another super strong team, made for an exciting game. We ended up needing 4on4 and 3on3 again to win before a shootout was needed!! Undefeated, we were headed to the Finals! The boys faced St. Marys again and ended up with a loss....Silver Medal Winners! Good job boys!
