What an exciting weekend of hockey!!! The boys played in the 62nd Annual Preston Tournament. It is the first year they have included Peewee teams in the tournament. We were in the A division. We faced tough teams..Kitchener Rangers with a 4-4 tie, Georgina Blaze, Applewood Coyotes, and Kitchener again,,,all wins! That took us to the Semi Finals against the Jr. Mustangs...we won 5-2! Our final game was against a tough and hard working Big City team..the Hamilton Huskies!! It was an exciting game..we held a one goal lead for the whole game..with an empty netter to seal the deal with 30 seconds left! The boys worked so hard this weekend, and watching them come together as a team, never getting down or giving up, was a win for us all! Thank you to the coaches and kids for a fantastic weekend!!
