Dragons gain tie despite playing shorthanded
Dorchester took on Thamesford with only 6 skaters available to play the game. Cody Carneiro scored his first goal 58 seconds into the game when he converted a pass from Carter Scott behind the net. Dorchester held that lead until 4 minutes into the third period when Thamesford finally scored. With 5 minutes to go Geordie Hamilton rushed the puck up the ice and took a shot on net and Carneiro was there to bury the rebound. The Dorchester boys were exhausted and that led to a Thamesford breakaway late in the game leveling the score at 2-2. Brayden Williams switched from forward to defence for the game and played the entire game until he was called for a penalty 5 minutes into the third. Liam Monk was the only regular defenceman to play. Derek Van Houwelingen was the 6 Dragon in the game.
