Balanced scoring attack not enough in game 1
Dorchester got goals from 6 different players but fell 8-6 to Aylmer 1 in their first playoff game. Darren Grosbeck, Carter Scott, Michael Gowman, Derek Van Houwelingen, Connor Hanenburg and Cody Carneiro all netted goals while Cole Grainger and Ben Caddey each had 2 assists. Other assists went to Sam Warner, Liam Monk, Darren Grosbeck and Jacob Smith. The game went back and forth with both teams holding the lead at various times during the game. Aylmer's 8th goal was scored into the empty net. Aylmer outshot Dorchester 41 to 39 in the game. Next game is Sunday at 3:15 pm in Aylmer.
