We have made the very difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our
2020-2021 season due to the recent changes made to the provincial COVID-19 guidelines
and the uncertainty of at what capacity, if any, we could return to hockey in
February. We will be issuing refunds for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season,
with a season end date of December 14th, 2020.
The refund process involves some manual input and therefore will require some time to be completed. You should expect to see your refund issued to the credit card used to register by mid February, 2021. The executive is currently exploring options to run a spring season in the months of April and May should provincial and local guidelines allow. We will keep you updated through email, social media and our website as details become known. Additionally, we are also looking forward to next year. We have started the planning process for the 2021-2022 season in hopes that hockey can resume in a greater capacity come the Fall.
While this season is not the season any of us had hoped for, we are very proud of the way our players adapted and continued to do their best in these challenging times. We are very thankful for our coaches who planned numerous practices to keep players engaged and having fun, all while remaining safe. Finally, we are thankful for our parents and guardians for your commitment to DMHA and for doing your best to respect the rules and guidelines as we moved throughout the different stages.
