DMHA CHECKING CLINIC

DMHA will host a body checking clinic on Saturday, September 11th.
Two sessions will run as follows:
Session 1: In-class - 11:15 - 11:45
On-ice - 12:00 - 1:00
Session 2: In-class - 12:15 - 12:45
On-ice - 1:00 - 2:00
You will be automatically assigned to one on the sessions and your time will be communicated to you prior to the clinic day. The classroom sessions will be hosted in the Lion’s room with the on-ice session to follow on the CANUSA ice pad.
The clinic is designed to teach proper body checking skills and techniques through classroom instruction and hands-on training. The instruction will be provided by Total Package Hockey (TPH). This clinic or an alternate clinic is required for any DMHA player who has not previously participated in a checking clinic and is intending to try out for a representative team (BB or AE) at the U15 or U18 level.
Registration is available through the Hockey Canada Registry, if you did not register with your regular registration.

The cost for the clinic is $10.
Full equipment is required for the on-ice portion of the training.
