WELCOME BACK
Submitted By Jeremy Rintjema on Monday, September 04, 2017
Welcome to the 2017-18 Dorchester Dragons' minor hockey season!  The Labour Day weekend marks the traditional transition from summer to fall, and from summer sports to hockey.  With tryouts starting this week, followed by local league evaluations and the start of the season, the arena will resume its place as the centre of our community.

While planning for the season has been under way for some time, this is where the blades meet the ice.  Teams are formed, and the process of becoming true "teammates" begins.  Effort, respect and sportsmanship are rewarded with skill development and confidence.  On behalf of the DMHA executive, I wish all of our new and returning players and coaches a successful, safe and fun season.

If you have an opportunity to thank one of the many amazing volunteers who work to plan and execute our hockey programs, please do so.  Better yet, consider the ways in which you too can help to make this year the year of the Dragons!

Fire it up, Dragons!
