It was do-or-die in Tillsonburg this afternoon as the Dorchester Dragons squared off against the Mount Brydges Cougars Red in their final round robin game at the Max Partlo Memorial Tournament. The stakes were simple: win or tie, and the Dragons would control their own destiny. What followed was a battle worthy of a championship stage. The second round of the Max Partlo Memorial Tournament in Tillsonburg delivered intensity, grit, and no shortage of physical play as the Dorchester Dragons took to the ice as the designated home team against the Tavistock Titans.

The Dorchester Dragons wrapped up their regular season in dramatic fashion on Sunday, February 8th, hitting the road for a playoff-seeding showdown against the St. Mary’s Rock Blue squad at the Pyramid Centre. It was a fitting stage for a matchup that showed just how far both teams have come since their first meeting back on October 11th—only the second game of the season. The Dorchester Dragons gave their home crowd plenty to cheer about on Saturday afternoon (February 7th) at the Flight Exec Centre, battling the Port Stanley Sailors Black squad to a heart-pounding 4–4 tie in the Dragons’ final home game of the regular season. With playoff positioning on the line in the ultra-competitive L.M.L.L. Central Division—where margins between victory and defeat are razor thin—this one had all the intensity you’d expect and then some.
