This is to update you on some important date changes
regarding registration.
When DMHA first opened registration, concrete season details
from OHF, OMHA and our leagues were not yet known.
Since then, we have been told that our leagues are planning for a return to regular hockey. Tryouts for DMHA rep teams are expected to start around September 24th, 2021, with the Shamrock (rep teams) league regular season play commencing October 12th, 2021 and LMLL league play not far behind. Our association needs to determine the number of players we will have in each division so we can plan more effectively and have our teams ready to go for our league start dates. We therefore have moved up the deadline for late fees and the closing of registration.
- Regular registration (no late fees) will continue until 11:59pm on August 27, 2021.
- A late fee of $100 will be charged for registrations received after 11:59pm on August 27th, 2021.
- Registration will close at 11:59 pm on September 6th, 2021.
Anyone wishing to register after that date will need to email our registrar, at [email protected]. There is no guarantee registration will be accepted after September 7th, 2021 and will be decided depending on if there is room in the requested age group.

If you still need to register, Hockey Canada has launched a new registration platform this year. Both new and returning players will need to create an account. After you have created an account, a verification code will be emailed to you. Please check your junk folder as it may land there. Enter the verification code and follow the prompts to register your player(s). Select the player you wish to register and complete the registration process by answering the questions and selecting the add on options you wish to choose. Once the player's registration process is complete, you will have the option to add a second or subsequent player to your cart. You should register all of your players in this way before entering the payment process. Please note this year, the yellow ticket fundraiser price ($100) is automatically included on top of each registration fee, however a discount will be applied at checkout and you will only be charged for one if registering more than one player. If you are registering a new player who is not associated with your profile yet, you will need to email their birth certificate to our registrar who will add the player to your profile. ([email protected]). We are also aware that parents can not currently update addresses in the new system. We are continuing to seek clarification and will update once this is resolved.
