Major Midget, U18, 2015-2016 (Dorchester Minor Hockey Association)

The Major Midgets went undefeated on the weekend to capture the championship in the Aylmer Fall Rep Tournament. The team had three wins in the round robin over Ingersol (4-3), Lucan (5-1) and Bancroft (6-3) to finish second out of twelve teams. The semi-final, against Dresden, ended 3-0 to send the boys to the final against Mt. Brydges. The final was a very well-played, clean game, by both teams, and ended with a score of 4-1, in our favour, for the championship. Great weekend of hockey. Next up - Regional Silver Stick - Nov 27-29 in Midland. 

The Major Midgets had a successful weekend in Caledonia on the weekend. With wins over New Hamburg (2-1), Dundas (2-0) and a tie (1-1) with NOTL, the Midgets finished in first place overall and moved on the play Ayr in the Semi-finals on Sunday morning. A 3-1 win moved the team on to the final against NOTL where they lost 5-2. The team displayed some very good goal tending and defensive play with some timely scoring.
