Dorchester tied their series with Strathroy Red at 2 games a piece with a 3-1 win in Strathroy this afternoon. The first goal came with 7 minutes to go in the first when Carter Scott won a faceoff in the Dorchester zone and tipped the puck to Brandon Fisher who then rushed the puck all the way to the Strathroy zone and fired a shot the Strathroy goalie got a piece of but not enough to stop it. The second goal came a few minutes later when Scott again won a draw in the strathroy zone this time. He got the puck to Chris Gubbels who skated it deep in the Strathroy zone and fired a pass to Fisher ...

Dorchester pulled out a thrilling 5-4 come from behind victory in Thamesford Saturday night. The game started off rough as Thamesford scored three straight goals to lead 3-0 with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd period. At that point Alex Bankes through a big check and then came to the aid of Matt Kunder after he took a retalitory high hit from a Thamesford player. That seemed to fire up Dorchester as Josh Trodden and Brandon Fisher scored less than a minute apart before the end of the 2nd period. Josh Trodden flipped a rebound past the Aylmer goalie with Jonathon Oke and and MAtt Kunder drawing assists. The goal reduced the Aylmer lead to 3-1 at the time. Aylmer went on to score two more goals to win the game 5-1.

Dorchester got out to a fast start when McKenzie McDermid controlled the puck behind the net. He passed to Carter Scott in the corner who quickly relayed it to Brandon Fisher in the slot who fired home the first goal of the game. Exeter responded with a goal of their own to end the first period tied at one. Unfortunately Dorchester came out flat early in the second period and gave up two quick goals in one shift to trail 3-1 after two periods. Dorchester lost 5-2 to Belmont 1 in a penalty filled game. Josh Trodden continue his strong play of late scoring the first Dorchester goal with assists to Colton Verougstraete and Derek Van Houwelingen. Later, Carter Scott grabbed a loose puck in the Belmont zone and scored the second Dorchester goal with an assist to Jonathon Seliga. That left the score tied 2-2 after one period. In the second and third periods Dorchester repeatedly had multiple players in the penalty box at the same time and gave up 3 goals to lose the game.
