Selects Expression of Player Interest
Please complete the form below to express interest in your child’s participation on a Select team. A Select team can only be formed if there are at least two Local League (LL) teams in that age division. If there is only one LL team, a Select team cannot be created. In addition, Select rosters must reflect fair player distribution across LL teams: If there are 2 LL teams → no more than 60% of the roster may come from one team. If there are 3 LL teams → no more than 40% of the roster may come from one team. As per OMHA requirements, Select is an extension of Local League. Players must be rostered to an LL team, remain in good standing, and may not miss LL practices or games for Select activities. Should a Select team be formed, tryouts will be scheduled after Local League teams are finalized. A tryout fee may be required to cover ice and insurance costs. Please note that completing this form is only an expression of interest and does not guarantee a team will be formed or your child a roster spot on a Select team.

Do you understand that you may need to travel for practices as there is no current availability or guarantee of available ice at the Flight Exec Centre.
Do you understand that if your child is selected for a Select team, their primary responsibility remains with their Local League team, and participation on the Select team is in addition to their Local League commitments? Players will not be permitted to miss Local League games or practices for Select activities, and failure to meet Local League obligations may result in suspension or removal from the Select team.
Do you understand that participation on a Select team requires additional fees beyond your child’s Local League registration? These fees are separate from LL fees and may include tryout fees, practice ice rentals, tournament entry, referee and timekeeper costs for exhibition games, uniforms (socks and home/away jerseys), development sessions, and related travel expenses. All Select teams are required to follow DMHA financial accountability rules. Fundraising and sponsorship are permitted, subject to DMHA approval.
