Registration Reminder
After a challenging year and a half, hockey is back and stronger than ever! DMHA is working hard to get things in place for a full season of hockey for 2021-2022. We have been told that OHF, OMHA and our leagues are planning for a return to regular hockey. At this time, tryouts for DMHA rep teams are expected to start around September 24th, 2021, with the Shamrock league commencing October 15th, 2021 and LMLL league play not far behind. Tournaments are also currently permitted as early as mid- October.
This is a reminder that registration is open on our website for the 2021-2022 hockey season. Please register as soon as possible, so that the association can determine the number of players we will have, and plan more effectively for the season.
Hockey Canada has launched a new registration platform this year. Both new and returning players will need to create an account. After you have created an account, a verification code will be emailed to you. Please check your junk folder as it may land there. Enter the verification code and follow the prompts to register your player(s). Select the player you wish to register and complete the registration process by answering the questions and selecting the add on options you wish to choose. Once the player's registration process is complete, you will have the option to add a second or subsequent player to your cart. You should register all of your players in this way before entering the payment process. Please note this year, the yellow ticket fundraiser price ($100) is automatically included on top of each registration fee, however a discount will be applied at checkout and you will only be charged for one if registering more than one player. If you are registering a new player who is not associated with your profile yet, you will need to email their birth certificate to our registrar who will add the player to your profile. ([email protected]). We are also aware that parents can not currently update addresses in the new system. We are continuing to seek clarification and will update once this is resolved.
A late fee of $100 will be charged for registrations on October 15th, 2021 and later. Registration will close at midnight on Friday, November 19th, 2021.
