Dragons Domination Continues
Dorchester Dragons finished the regular season with a dominating 19-1 record and set they're eyes on the Lefroy Year End Tournament.

The Dragons U13 LL2 made the trek to Nottawasaga Inn this past weekend to compete in the Weekend Hockey Lefroy Year End Tournament. Starting Friday morning they took on the Rayside Balfour Tigercats. It was a solid game with excellent defensive play plus some explosive offense. Both goaltenders played and held strong for the Dragons with a great 7-0 start to the tournament. Friday afternoon Dorchester faced the Brock Wild. Dorchester was able to score quickly and maintain a lead even after getting into some penalty trouble with a 6-1 victory. Saturday Dorchester was looking to go 3-0 in the tournament and guarantee a ticket to the finals. The Soo EZ Ride pressed the Dragons and tested both goalies who stood tall. The offensive power of the Dragons was too much for the Soo, and the Dragons won 6-0.

The Finals
Sunday the Dragons found themselves facing off against the Brock Wild in the finals.  The games started off very tight as both teams were feeling each other out. Steven Penkin got the start for Dorchester in net and was tested early but turned away all of Brocks opportunities. Dorchester finally opened the scoring in the second period to take a 1-0 lead. The third period the Dragons got fired up and popped in 3 more goals as Derek Jergins the kept shut out alive. The final score was a 4-0 Dragons win.  The Dragons finished with 23 goals for and only allowing 1 goal against.

The U13 LL2 Dragons have gone in 4 Tournaments so far and made 4 Finals. They finished the regular season with an incredible 19 wins and 1 loss. The U13 LL2 Dragons now prepare for 2 more tournaments and the LLML playoffs.
