U13 LL2, Local League Teams, 2024-2025 (Dorchester Minor Hockey Association)

The U13 LL2 win the LMLL Championship. 

The U13 LL2 competed in the Simcoe Arms/Marci Cook Memorial tournament this past weekend. The players wore custom pink socks, and the goalies had custom pink jerseys for the tournament. Even some of the coaches wore pink during the tournament.  The Dragons went 3-0 in the round robin scoring 19 goals and only allowing 1 against.  The Dragons met the West Lincoln Flying Donkeys in the semifinals. It was a tough game, and the teams traded the lead back and forth. The Dragons prevailed with a goal by Xavier Papel in the third to win 4-3.  

Dorchester Dragons finished the regular season with a dominating 19-1 record and set they're eyes on the Lefroy Year End Tournament. 

The Dorchester Dragons LL2 U13 made their way to Pelham Ontario for the International Silver Stick Finals this January. The Dragons battled hard over the first four games and found themselves headed to the semifinal's vs the undefeated Durham Crusaders. This was a tight game tied at 1-1 when Lukas Malarzewski scored the go-ahead goal with 45 seconds left in the third. The Dragons would hold off the Crusaders winning 2-1 and making their way to the finals. 

Dragons win Silver Stick Championship. Over the weekend in Parkhill Ontario the U13 LL2 Dragons team went undefeated to win the Silver Stick tournament. Scoring 33 goals and only allowing 4 goals all tournament. Solid goaltending with strong defense stifled opposition teams. The teamwork and passing by the offense overwhelmed teams' defense. Stone Pearson was selected as tournament MVP for his excellent overall play.  The U13 LL2 have now qualified for the next Silver Stick to be held in Pelham, ON in January.
