Minor Midget, U18, 2014-2015 (Dorchester Minor Hockey Association)

The Midget AE Dragons completed their season this past weekend with a 4-1 win over Mooretown to take the Shamrock B Pool title.  The series went to a deciding third game with the home team winning each time in the series.  Dorchester took the opener 6-3 with Mooretown coming back to tie the series in game 2 with a 5-1 win.  The Dragons had advanced to the finals with a 3 game sweep of Mt. Brydges in the semi finals.

After winning their Regional Silver Stick last month in Haliburton the Dorchester Dragon Midget AE team traveled to Pelham to take on the best of the best in the International Silver Stick Finals.  The team started slow losing their first game Thursday morning to the Ajax Knights 5-0.  Not getting down on themselves, the team would rebound to defeat the St. Marys Rock 3-2 that afternoon.

The Midget AE Dragons traveled to Haliburton this weekend for their Regional Silver Stick going 2-0-1 during Saturday's round robin and then shutting out the host Highland Storm 2-0 in the semis and defeating the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders 4-0 in the finals to bring home the banner.  A combination of speed, timely scoring, defensive support and stellar goaltending came together to bring home the banner.  On to Internationals in Pelham on January 8.  Great job team!

Strathroy has withdrawn their request to reschedule tonight's game so we will play as scheduled at 8:40PM tonight.  

DMHA Yellow tickets are to be dropped off in the lock box outside the arena staff office (just outside entrance to North rink)  Draws begin November 5 so don't delay.
