The annual general meeting of Dorchester Minor Hockey Association will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025 at 7:00pm. All DMHA members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend. The meeting will take place in the Lion's Den in the new addition at the Flight Exec Centre.
Anyone wishing to attend the meeting can register by completing the registration form, found HERE. Please register by Sunday, May 11th, 2025.
The annual general meeting is an opportunity to learn more about and participate in your association. Reports will be given on the activities and finances of the association for the 2024 season. Elections will also be held for 2025-26 executive positions. Members in good standing may vote on matters raised at the AGM, including the election of executive members. Each member is permitted one vote.
Motions may be made by members in good standing if submitted in the prescribed form at least 30 days before the date of the AGM (by April 21, 2025). The notice of motion form can be found here.
We will have open executive positions available for the 2025-26 season with many current members stepping down. The following positions will be open: President, 1st Vice-President Finance and Fundraising, Treasurer and Shamrock Rep. If anyone is interested in these positions, we encourage you to reach out now for an opportunity to shadow current members. The positions will be officially voted in at the AGM.
