Gold Medal Winners
The boys went to Stayner during the week end of Dec 7/8 & returned with GOLD!!
The first game was a tough battle against Paris that ended in a 6-6 tie. Game #2 proved a little easier as the boys were ready to play. They pounded Listowel 14-1. The next game was against the local favourties Collingwood & again, our boys were relentless. Victory. 8-1. This took our guys to the finals. They had to play against tough Lambton Shores. Our players worked hard. Goalie Ryan Luksys made save after save...then a few more saves. Our Dorchester Dragons worked hard back checking, hustling, & playing strong in our own end. The final score was 3-0 Dragons. All the hard work paid off. Thanks to coaches Chris, Darren & Rob for keeping the boys' spirits up all day & showing amazing teamwork!!!
Congratulations to all of our boys & parents & to Ryan Luksys for winning MVP. Well done!!!
